We are seeking a Scientific Field Technician to perform a range of on-site, environmental testing and assessment at our clients' properties.

We are seeking an individual with scientific qualifications and prior experience working in the field (preferably within a commercial business). Experience in Occupational Hygiene or hazardous materials is also preferred.

The role involves completing a range of scientific services. Key responsibilities include assessment, investigation, and the collection of samples, engaging with site contacts, and entering data on-site.

Our business provides a range of property and scientific services to Property Management firms, Real Estate professionals, social and community housing providers, Property developers, and more across most of New Zealand.

We offer a range of different scientific services, such as mould and moisture consulting, meth testing, asbestos consulting, lead-based paint testing, water quality testing, and soil testing and consulting.

About the Role
We are looking for an individual to join our Auckland-based team in the Field to complete various scientific services.

You will ensure assessments are being completed correctly and procedures are followed adequately.

We need someone who can be a positive contributor to our All Clear team with great time management, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Attend sites across the Greater Auckland region

• Assessment, investigation, and the collection of samples

• Entering survey information and reporting on-site using our systems

• Engaging with clients and site contacts

• Assessing and conducting safe working procedures in potentially hazardous environments

• Travel around New Zealand where required

Requirements:

• You must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa

• Have (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Environmental Science, or similar.

• Professional English language proficiency

• Strong experience working with customers

• Competent with technology

• A clean, current, and Full New Zealand driver's licence.

• A high ability to follow and understand instructions

• Experience in Occupational Hygiene or hazardous materials (not essential)
