About the Role
We are looking for a Smoke Alarm Technician & Healthy Homes Assessor to join our Auckland team. You work independently, so you don't drive to the office each day. Instead, your first job is often nearby where you live.
In this role, you’ll be servicing and installing smoke alarms and working directly with clients on-site. Our alarms are stand-alone (non-complex/wired) battery-powered smoke alarms. You’ll be moving between properties, applying your expertise, and building trusted relationships along the way. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, has great time management, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic to meet the needs of our clients.
Initial growth in this role involves learning to undertake Healthy Homes assessments.
Requirements:
You must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa
Knowledge/ experience in building/ construction
Professional English language proficiency
Experience dealing with customers
Excellent time management skills
A clean, current, and Full New Zealand driver's licence
A high ability to follow and understand instructions
Advanced competency/ experience with technology
Currently based in New Zealand
