We are seeking a Healthy Homes Assessor & Smoke alarm technician with strong people skills, knowledge of the construction/building industry, technical expertise, familiarity with client interactions, and the ability to learn quickly. Key responsibilities include servicing and installing smoke alarms, completing Healthy Homes assessments, and communicating with clients/contacts on-site.

About the Role
We are looking for a Smoke Alarm Technician & Healthy Homes Assessor to join our team in Northland. You work independently, so you don't drive to an office each day. Instead, your first job is often nearby where you live.
This role primarily involves installing and assessing smoke alarms using our tools/systems. These are stand-alone (non-complex/wired) battery-powered smoke alarms. Initial growth in this role includes learning to conduct Healthy Homes assessments.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong time management, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic to meet our clients' needs.
Requirements:
You must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa
Knowledge/experience in construction/building
Professional English language proficiency
Experience dealing with customers
Excellent time management skills
A clean, current, and Full New Zealand driver's licence
A high ability to follow and understand instructions
Advanced competency/experience with technology
Currently based in New Zealand
